Who is the Rambler?
The beginning
Aloha!! I’m the crazy, silly, fun, rambling, kind of gal you take to a coffee shop or a club, blogger & creator of My Rambling Thoughts!
Starting wayyyyyyy back in 2005, family members and I hatched a plan to use this cool new way to stay in touch with each other. Our own Coconut Wireless we called it, as members stretched from Hawaii to Pennsylvania. MySpace was the thing at that time and some of my older family members didn’t understand how to navigate such a site. But Blogging, was doable. I don’t even have a story as to why I chose this name, but I did. And it’s stuck.
Because I jumped the gun and got super excited to start up again, I didn’t know how to import that stuff over to my new place. So, if you’d like to see baby Rambler (me), check out some of my posts there!
My Why as a blogger
The number one question a blogger gets asked is Why? Why do you blog? If you asked me in 2005, I would have said, so my Aunt knows what Coffee I got yesterday. In 2007, random bloggers found my content good enough to follow and we created our own community, blah, blah.
You get my drift. Currently, my WHY is because I finally have time. I’ve had to put this passion of mine on the back burner so that I could take care of life. When I write a piece and others find it worthy enough to respond and tell me how they feel, leaves me with a satisfied feeling.
I wear many hats
I am a wife (currently a military spouse at that), mother, daughter, sister, Aunt, friend & Storyteller! The Storyteller part, I know, I get from my father. I can recall many times in my life watching my father spin his latest tale to a guest visiting with us, or chatting with his sister, at work with his employees. He was always an engaging man. And people enjoyed listening.
I enjoy every single part of who I am to others. And has provided many inspired posts. #blessed to have “hats” to hang when it’s the end of the day.
thank you & welcome!
Thank you for making it this far! I hope that you come in, stay a bit…poke around and see what I have. Just don’t look under the bed. Or open up my closets. Here’s a couple of posts to get you started.
